. . Reptile Breeders and Reptile Dealers
Please read about and preferably oppose the impending National Python Ban, here .
Banning the entire Genus 'Python' because South Florida has a problem with wild caught pythons which escaped when a flimsy building housing them was struck by a hurricane almost 2 decades ago, and they established themselves. If you live in a state that freezes, pythons are not likely to ever establish themselves in the middle of your local national park. This bill, if passed, would make it illegal to own or possess any kind of python. There are hundreds of persons who breed specialty pythons as an additional source of income. Several kinds of pythons rarely exceed 6 feet in length, and many sites here have some lovely examples of the dozens of varieties available.
Here's a list I Reptile Breeders and Reptile Dealers I started in November 2008. And some related links to reptile food purveyors and caging systems and so forth. And anything else "of emeritus virtue".
If you are a Reptile Breeder or Dealer, or know of one not listed, please tell me

Reptile Breeders and Dealers who accept PayPal: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_shop-ext&q=reptiles
Maybe more sellers can sign up with them(?). Evidently they don't all know PP
will link into them for the asking, provided they have their own website; not to
be confused with space their ISP gives them, or a myspace page, or some space
rented to them by another website.
Tinley Park Reptile Show/Sale pics, 2009
My testimonial: I was having problems with some of my captive born snakes keeping food down; they were getting thinner and weaker until I added a little powdered NutriBAC to their water bowls and gently lowering their heads into it to drink. They drank and within an hour perked up. The next day all of them fed immediately when food was introduced, and kept their meals down. NutriBAC gave them the enzymes they needed to digest their food. I suspect in the wild they would eat other wildlife which has digestive enzymes which could be passed on, but that captive raised mice do not contain what they really need sometimes. They've been growing at an alarming rate ever since. Thank you BeanFarm for providing an affordable product which I'm convinced saved around $800. in baby snakes
dnotes on searching for these herpy people (no cold sore puns intended). the query (what you type in the search box is the query, get over it)
put quotation marks around the person's name. the persons names on the list should probably be replaced with the business names, but then I've gleaned them from across vendor lists I've So that exact phrase (they have a first and last name) is what is shown in the results. *When you do not use the quote marks, all pages with either part of the name come up, which isn't what you meant.
Use the +sign with additional words that must appear on the page. Such as +reptiles +contact, as if getting that information would cut thru all that other stuff. Often you'll come to a forum site and be able to pick that apart a bit more. Sometimes you have to omit their first name and just do a last name search,
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=BCI+%2Bcart+%2Bboa+-music+-contract is a good example.
If I'm searching for "captive born" +"python regius" cart
basket buy -book (the minus gets rid of any pages that might be a book for sale)
the minus sign can be your friend. using a negative for a positive purpose.
things within things, it's genetic, blah blah blah
here's an old list of
search engines, i haven't updated it in forever, i like lists. +cart
or +basket is when you click to purchase it online, you usually put
it in one of them.
Sometimes you'll hit a link to a now dead/gone website, or the site has
changed into some other crap. So what to do?
for example: http://www.cornsnake.com
go to http://archive.org and enter the
"cornsnake.com" part of the url, the results look like: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://cornsnake.com
Then you can see what was on the site back in 2001 & perhaps glean a nugget
or two of info.
What happens when a rare morph becomes common http://www.agamainternational.com/pages/jeweled_lacertas.html
Below are some notes for myself, that I'm keeping on this page, so I can
check on them from any computer worldwide.
